One of the coolest parts of being a New York wedding photographer is being able to meet people from all over the world.  Josanne and Ronnie are getting married this July in Trinidad and Tobago, but first the necessary trip to Kleinfeld’s in NYC to get Josanne’s perfect wedding dress.   On her return trip for her fitting, they booked an engagement session in Central Park with me.  “We want a Fairytale look,” she wrote me, “can you recommend the best part of Central Park for that?”  Central Park is like a part of me,  not only have I lived within a block of it for 4 of my 8 years in New York City, but even when I wasn’t I was always there photographing, exercising, and soaking up nature – the things I love best.  The perfect spot came to mind for their shoot.  A small, quiet,  forested area in Central Park with wooden bridges, creeks, little waterfalls and the illusion of going back to a simpler time and place – like the backdrop for any fairytale.    I won’t tell you where this special spot is, but if you want to book a session with me there or go exploring and find it for yourself, I highly encourage it.  Central Park has so many beautiful nooks and crannies far from tourist visitors, I’m sure you’ll stumble upon something spectacular, even if it’s not my secret spot… :)
