Published | New York Magazine Listing

Have you ever noticed how NyQuil gives you a worse hangover than anything? I feel like I don’t know my name this morning, so forgive me if this post ends up being Hangover Part IV without Bradley Cooper (yes that would be a flop).   I’ve been trying to get plenty of rest and kick this three-week-old cold in the butt before we leave for Jamaica tomorrow!

That was a little Friday randomness for you, now onto the point… I just wanted to share with the blogosphere some good news- we’ve been listed as a choice wedding photographer in New York Wedding Magazine’s Summer issue!   How does one get listed in NY Wedding Magazine you ask?  Good question,  I have no idea!!!  All I know is I reached out to an editor there asking how to submit weddings, and how much it was to purchase an ad (the answer, by the way, was your entire life savings and your right arm).   I asked if the photography listings were sold or editorially selected and she told me editorial.    A few weeks later, I get a call from the Magazine interviewing me for a little blurb for a new york wedding photographer listing in their magazine!  This week, this glossy beauty arrived for me in the mail with my name in it, as if by magic!

Honestly though,  I am so excited and honored, even though it’s just a tiny little blurb next to a million other amazing photographers, it somehow makes my heart leap, and makes me feel that everything I’ve been working towards the last 2 years is legitimized.

Yes, my name is in red because I’m the best.  Okay no, they do that for all their newest listings…

Have a great weekend!!
