Remember your fourth grade boyfriend? I do. I remember when he showed up at my house on Valentine’s Day with a box of chocolates that had my Mom and three sisters “oohing” and “ahhing” me into such a state of embarrassment that I cried and hid in my closet for hours. Now imagine reconnecting with your elementary school sweetheart on Facebook fifteen years later and it turning out that you had it right in fourth grade! That’s what happened for Cathryn and Clint who are getting married in June.
I just love it when a couple cooks up an engagement session that says “This is us” and that is just what Clint and Cathryn did pulling together a long list of places that meant something to them personally for a whopping three hour session. But it was just the inspiration I was needing that rainy afternoon: a beautiful couple with an adorable love story, and a trip to several new places, and a few familiar ones, to capture the unique relationship of Cathryn and Clint. Some of the places you see below are several parts of Central Park, Spring Lounge, Nolita, PUBLIC, Times Square, Freeman’s Alley and a few other gems around Nolita, the couple’s Manhattan neighborhood.
