If someone made me, forced me, coerced me into divulging my favorite type of wedding, I’d have to admit, it would be in a New York Botanical Garden wedding. Don’t get me wrong, I loved getting married in Lake Tahoe, but there is something just so romantic, intimate and lovely about roses, overflowing flower beds, and garden paths and knowing we are hidden somewhere in the midst of New York City. Elizabeth and Daniel, a couple of nature lovers, chose the Stone Mill at the New York Botanical Garden for their wedding, and this New York wedding photographer couldn’t have been a happier camper! From the little succulents they gave their guests as favors, to the beautiful textured bouquets and centerpieces, this wedding was truly breathtaking. Their ceremony had the backdrop of a rushing creek and towering deciduous trees which added to the majesty and wonder of the sacred vows they made. I hope you enjoy a taste of their special day.
Abigail Kirsch has some of the most beautiful venues, and are some of the most professional caterers/event managers I’ve ever worked with! I’ve had a secret love affair with them ever since my event planning days! The New York Botanical Garden is one of their extra special exclusive venues in New York.
Don’t let their doctorate degrees fool you, Elizabeth and Daniel and all their physicist friends know how to party! From the minute they entered the ballroom the party did not stop, and everyone (myself included) had a fabulous night!
