Grand Central and the New York Public Library | NYC Engagement Photographer

Meet Juqi and Heng-Heng.  They met in College at Virigina Tech- him a computer engineering major and her studying economics.   They met through a mutual friend, she met up with him later to borrow a book and the rest is history.   This engagement took place partially at the New York Public Library where they could re-live on a large scale the moment that sparked their whole relationship! Already married by NY state law (the reason for their rings) but still planning their big wedding in China to take place on Christmas eve!  They wanted fun, playful photos that would showcase their lives in NYC and the United States to family back home. They showed up with a suitcase of props which we had fun with, and which the NYPL would not let us bring in (no suitcases).  So the lovely and ambitious Michelle Clemente-Lange took one for the team and waited outside with them.  BIG thanks Michelle for her help during the shoot- couldn’t have managed it without her.  Luckily Grand Central station did allow suitcases (duh!) so we had more luck there and Michelle got to have some fun as well… I hope you enjoy this fun NYC E-session!
