Favorite Things Fridays | My Prospective Client Information Kit

My single piece of advice to wedding photographers whenever they are pursuing a branding project is: hire a professional to do all your design.  They can help you take whatever vision you might have to the next level.

When I approached my friend Sofia Whiddon, an excellent graphic design artist, to design me an information kit for prospective clients,  my goal was a simple folder with a custom designed contract, info-sheet and price list.  I also wanted to include a fun little gift of four postcards, each showcasing a portrait of a wedding or engagement image in every season.  Sofia, who I can always count on to be creative, unique and attentive to detail, took my ideas to the next level.  To each postcard she gave unique little details.  The pattern on the back of each postcard is inspired by different fabrics (to fit the season captured in the picture) and instead of just adding a simple box to indicate where the stamp and logo should go she even created the illusion of the fabric fraying away.  Sofia even managed to make the contract look fun with tabs and unique folding.   I love her new design for my business cards as well- the torn paper is such a subtle representation of the natural, timeless, romantic vibe I want to showcase in my brand.  I’m so grateful for Sofia for making my dreams come to life more beautifully than I could have imagined!
