Cork Factory Hotel Wedding | New York and Pennsylvania Wedding Photographer
There were so many special moments and personal touches in this wedding, I don’t know where to begin. Why don’t I begin with Alex and Christina themselves: Two warm-hearted people whose vision for their wedding was to host an intimate affair with their closest friends and family. In fact, their friends are so important to them that they moved their wedding up from May to January of this year when they found out that some of Alex’s closest friends’ were to be deployed before their wedding. The other thing that has to be said about Alex and Christina is that for two extremely kind and affectionate people, they are also tough. Like, really tough. They did meet as two officers in the Navy
after all, and how grateful I was for their toughness, because they were willing –no– GLAD to take 30 minutes worth of portraits in the snow without their jackets. It was really impressive and allowed us to get some truly gorgeous images that I would have never thought possible on a wedding day.
The ceremony was so beautiful- the two of them couldn’t help but snuggle throughout it and it was clear that everyone was overcome with joy for the two of them. The Cork Factory Hotel in historic Lancaster PA was the perfect place for this intimate winter affair. They further personalized their wedding by naming each table for a book that meant something to them personally. I just love those kinds of unique touches! By the end of the night, it was clear to me that these two achieved their vision- their night was full of laughs, hugs, and cozy tête-à-têtes between them and each of their dearest family and friends. I was so honored to be invited into Christina and Alex’s world for this special day. Thanks so much to Jainé for your excellent company and for helping me to capture the day!
